fire

Anyone who knows Marketfish knows that our very business model goes against the grain. Because our own start-up sprung from a need to address the elephant in our industry, we enjoy reading about people who are doing the same in their marketing sphere. And, let’s be honest, there’s so much damn noise in the blogosphere these days, it’s refreshing when you read something real. That said, here is a no-holds-barred, slightly NSFW round-up of our favorite politically incorrect marketing articles. Tell us how you really feel, people!

Marketing articles to get you fired up

  3. A refreshing bad sport post from Conversation Marketing on how to kick your competitor’s ass online.
  4. One of my all-time favorite articles about how making a difference in business requires…..umm, good old-fashioned wherewithal! Caution, disturbing gopher pictures inside!squirrel

  18. No politically incorrect blog round-up would be complete without this little firecracker that had my mild-mannered hometown up in hackles. Here’s the Startup Whisperer on whether Seattle entrepreneurs are wimps….ouch.
  19. Another good one from Lisa Barone on why social media can be fantastically gripping or tear-jerkingly boring.
  20. Patsi Krakoff with a candid post on how to avoid entrepreneur’s disease.

That’s a squirrel, not a gopher.

I love this list, thank you. The truth often does hurt.

Thank you for the inclusion.

Thanks, I’m honored to be included on this list! Also, there are a few excellent politically incorrect posts here I somehow missed, so thanks for bringing those to my attention also.

When I first saw the headline, however, I assumed you’d probably linked to my most politically incorrect post of last year, How to Suck at Twitter (and Still Look Successful): http://webmarketcentral.blogspot.com/2009/12/how-to-suck-at-twitter-and-still-look.html

Great list! Makes we want to do something even more controversial for next year’s.

Tom: Haha, I did read that one, and it was a close race! But the Indiana Jones clip won us over in the end.

Love it all!
