Here’s another post from our intern, Mikayla Chicquette. This time she dives into the history of the Marketfish platform. She takes you on a tour of our current and past versions, so you can see how we’ve evolved to better serve our clients.
Marketfish recently celebrated its 4 year anniversary! That’s a lot of years for a scrappy startup to stick around. Take a stroll down memory lane as we divulge and dissect the evolution of the storied Marketfish platform.
Beta Fish
During the platform’s first year, Marketfish was in beta. The platform was still more of an idea than a conceived product. But the idea, the hope, was beautiful. Though small, the beta fish is a fighter; Marketfish is a fighter. Marketfish’s Beta platform fought through a beginning startup’s stumbling blocks and obstacles to survive.
Great White Shark
Marketfish grew from a baby Beta platform into something fierce – a powerful shark lurking in the depths, hunting for those marketers in need of a new data source. This beast was hard to control; the team was on fire, but the platform couldn’t keep up. At this point, they knuckled down and rebuilt the platform architecture. All their hard work would pay off with the next transformation.
Tiger Shark
With Tiger Shark, Marketfish cracks down. The technology becomes lean and mean. But the appetite for lists only grows. By consuming an ever-expanding and deeper range of lists, clients now have a diverse catalog that they can use to build their campaigns.
Don’t forget that record purchasing is now available for B2B lists, and with our data quality guarantee, this opportunity is hard to pass up. Don’t let a marketing miracle like this go swimming on by; seize the chance to boost your lead generation performance.
With our next iteration, Marketfish is building for more speed, more precision, and more efficiency. Mako Shark, the future platform of Marketfish, will be optimized for our repeat clients. The Mako Shark platform will become a deadlier and more effective marketing solution for lead generation marketers everywhere.
